The joy of meditation & energy shifting

Meditation can be so easily overlooked. when we start our journeys into a more spiritual life we are advised by others to meditate… but how many of us can truly say we donate time every day to this practice?
lives get busy and finding any time in the day can be hard work within itself
Then comes the question - have you tried mini meditations?
When picturing meditation we all but so often picture sitting quietly, crossed legged and surrounded by serenity. however, the real serenity is finding that same peace within ourselves.
Take those few minutes we have in the shower for example. It may only be a few minutes but for most it’s an every day experience. Simply close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing, let the water run down your back and find the serenity within.
Another moment we do daily is watching tv or scrolling mindlessly on our phones. consider placing your phone down for just 5 minutes - I hear you what is 5 minutes going to do? Well over a year that’s 1,825 minutes a year!
Other ways we can find our inner serenity
Although meditation is important - at the end of the day it’s not for everyone! So what are the other ways to look at
1) Dance it out!
Take all the weeks frustrations, vibrations and energy and shake it out and off! Simply put on some music shaking what your mother gave you mindfully shaking the week away
2) Wash it off!
This requires a little more than a quick bath or shower but is so effective and not much longer. While washing mindfully starting at your head and working your way down wash away the weeks stagnant energy
3) Walk away
Go for a long and meaningful walk. With each footstep visualise leaving a little unwanted energy along the way until the thoughts leave your mind and your ready to go back and enjoy every day again
4) Write it down
If it feels better having a journal specially for this can be a wonderful experience within itself. while taking time to write every day you can really let go and leave it on the page instead of taking it with you. This also helps you to really look at things from another perspectiv.
So what do all these things have in common and why implement them?
They all help you connect to the inner you!
Within witchcraft it is so important to know who you are. With any built up anger, regrets, jealously or tension in general it is so easy for that to subconsciously seep into your magickal workings and manifest or put blocks on manifestations in ways you may not even think about so … that 5 minutes a day looking good now?
